I've backed Sunderland, Arsenal and Liverpool. Sunderland because I think they have shown a bit more this season than Leicester. Arsenal because Man U seem to have a few injured and I think Arsenal's best asset is speed and Man Ure's defence is piss.

I vowed never to back Liverpool again so god knows why the feck I've backed them. I like watching Palace games on the box as their crowd make a fantastic atmosphere. Liverpool threw it away last time so I'm hoping it's not same story on Sunday

Hope you're right about Liverpool Kegs but i couldn't back them. Sturridge out for another month, i'm beginning to think he's been sold.

I wouldn't back them either Punt, I actually think Palace could win this time around without Liverpool throwing it away.
Liverpool at the moment look lost and if they don't find their way soon their season could be over by Christmas.

I can see why you'd take a Punt on Sunderland Keggers but I wouldn't have the balls to put money on it, good luck anyhow m8.
Like you though I like the look of an Arsenal win, apart from the odd 5 or 10 minutes here and there United just don't have it at the moment and aren't likely to get it any time soon when you look at the Injury's they have.
It's going to be backs to the wall stuff I reckon here for United, I don't think they will get a hammering but if Arsenal take their chances I can see them winning this by two or three goals.
    Sorry Howson:)

I'm also torn whether to take Spurs or not, they need to start getting results soon and a few weeks ago I wouldn't have even considered this fixture, but Hull have dipped badly of late and now is probably a good time to play them.

looking at the rest of the fixtures, apart from the Chelsea game I think we could see a few surprises this weekend.

slick - im not going to say a lot about your post, apart from arsenals defence is as bad as ours, and theyve beaten us once in the last 12 league games.

I thought that might get a response from the German markets.

I dare say they have only beaten you once in the last 12 games but I only work on current form and I think Arsenal will dick you, If anything I think United's defence has done excellent since it was decimated because it's been an all hands to the pump affair and the likes of Mcnair, Blackett, Keane and Shaw have done belting considering they are new to the team, I've left Rojo out because if anything he looks a liability tell the truth, plus he's another who's Injured and won't figure tomorrow.

And that's half my point, I could try and guess a United back 4 tomorrow of Valencia, Keane/Smalling, Carrick/Blackett/Smalling, Shaw.
or maybe even Evans in the mix if he's supposedly back, it's a fcuk up of extreme proportions as even King LVG doesn't know his best defence and even if he did has probably never had the chance to get them out on the pitch together.

With Arsenal playing at home they are going to have the large percentage of possession and even if Arsenals defence was as bad as United's which I don't think it is they are going to have to do a lot less defending than united.

Like I said I think United will put up a fight but I'm afraid at the moment I just don't think they are good enough considering the Injury's they have and will come unstuck against any half decent team like Arsenal.

lol, it was like watching the derby, how the fcuk you's got through that first half without conceding I'll never know.
If those chances would have gone in it would have been just like I said above.

Hats off to united though, they came out in the second half with a plan and it worked, it was very disjointed though and you's are still shit.

Ok lads my response - we was abysmal 1st half and van gaal was getting some shite in the pub for various reasons, but apart from the wilshere chance, arsenal still only had potshots from outside the box from what i can remember.

I thought we played better 2nd half, but it still wasnt what we expect and van gaal needs to drop rvp for starters, as hes finished and offers nothing anymore, he cant even hold the ball up for us, so we are constantly under pressure.

Saying all that we are now 4th, which either shows how bad this league is or we are doing something right, and like i said to slick arsenal dont beat us and are shite at the back - mertesacker was on the right wing in those last 15 minutes.

And neither mind the derby slick, we battered you with 10 men for the last 20 minutes.

Punter do you support liverpool? If so please dont get rid of rodgers hes doing a great job ha ha

Fair assessment that mate, 4th without playing that well, god knows what you'll be like when you do start playing!

And yes i'm a grumpy Liverpool fan lol. Rodgers has to go, he has no idea about defending for starters!

It's amazing what a difference 12 months make, United are hardly any better after spending £200 million squid but LVG is still highly respected, It just goes to show what a good job Moysey did wink wink.
To be fair United have had serious bad luck with Injury's and to end up sitting 4th in the League is quite remarkable, alas like said above the quality of the Prem is pretty pish poor hence all the Euro qualifiers bar Chelsea struggling.
Mourinhio has bought well, bringing Matic back and managing to get hold of Costa has turned the tide in their favour, not that they were far off last season mind.

Unlike Liverpool who weren't far off either but somehow Rodgers has gone one step forward and 6 steps back over 12 months, I went off Rodgers last season when he started to come the big 'I am' talking like Fergie when he has never won anything of note, i wasn't a big particular fan of Fergie and his talking shite but when you've won what he has you have to grin and bear it and listen.

With the extra Champ league games I expected Liverpool to be a bit stretched this season but not to see what is currently happening, even without Suarez you'd expect Liverpool to be at least on par with Arsenal but at the moment they ain't even the same level as Newcastle or West Ham.
I know Arsenal are also struggling but you can see them bouncing back with the players they have , I can't see Liverpool doing that and I don't see much of a change even if they got rid of Rodgers because he has bought so badly, Liverpool are stuck with what they have player wise for the foreseeable future and it will take somebody new a good while to get rid of the deadwood and get finances in place to bring in good new players.

Rodgers has missed a trick this year by squandering the Suarez money on a bucket load of average players when he would have been better served splashing the cash on a couple of World class players like United did, It's not worked for United yet because they need maybe two or three more very good players but I believe they will come good after another active summer, whereas Liverpool weren't far away last year but now have around half a dozen players on good money that just don't serve any purpose apart from swallowing up Liverpool's finances which they can't really afford under FFP. well they can but it ties up their hands for future investment.

No idea if any of you have Sky but I recently cancelled my subscription after the ryder cup. I'd had a letter informing me of a price rise which to me was a rise too many so I decided to cancel

I had to give 30 days notice which expired at the end of Nov.

To cut a long story short after a couple of phone calls from them I now have the same package for free for the next four months and after that, if I wish to continue the price will fall by over 60%.

If you are paying full price or know people who are it may well be advisable to let them know.

Sky have had a good run from us but with BT sport around there is now a market and we the public are back in control.
