I like the idea of a Weekend British Football Coupon all in one thread. Rather than individual leagues being posted up. I'm not sure what others think, but i think it may encourage more posts and it would make short time of copying and pasting from the Betnod Free Cash Competition every week too? Just a thought.

    Anyway..

Hartlepool, i expect them to pick up a little under the new manager and board, maybe? I'm going to split level stakes on them winning away at Mansfield @ 3/1 and also the 7/4 about them beating Morecambe at home.

I'm going to go with Aberdeen winning the big game in Scotland on Sunday, only 20% of my stake on the 6/4 though, the other 80% i'll be taking the DNB odds of 3/4. I just think it could be a season defining game for either of these two, i slightly favour the Aberdeen win but also know that both teams would probably be happy with the draw. I dont think ICT will win.

I'm on a couple in the Conference. Woking are on a bad run - three defeats on the bounce, and also three away defeats in a row. Eastleigh aren't setting the world alight but at least are in better form, and I've had some of Bet365's 6/4 on Eastleigh.

Another side in awful form are Aldershot :cry - one win in five at home to leaders Barnet who have the best away record in the league. Our defence has looked decidedly shaky recently, and I can see Akinde and MacDonald up front having a field day for Barnet. Sky go 31/20 Barnet (edit - typo - 23/20 Barnet).

Talking of Akinde, Barnet have three easy looking games over the break (Aldershot x 2; Dover) and Akinde is already a hat trick ahead of his rivals in the goalscorer charts, so I've taken some of Bet365's evens to be top goalscorer in the hope he'll be further ahead by the end of the holiday.

My punt for today (28th) is Woking to beat Aldershot :cry. Both sides are on slip in form, but the bet is based on Aldershot (we assume) having an inexperienced kid in goal following Phil Smith's sending off in the last game. I'll be there :thumb

Enjoy the game TC and i hope your bet loses for you :)

With Celtic only drawing and Dundee Utd losing this is now a great chance for Aberdeen to go 2pts behind the leaders.
Hartlepool managed a 2nd consecutive draw, away at Mansfield on Friday. I'm hoping today's the day for them to get a win.
Plymouth at home to Oxford make my trixie bet.
