British Football Betting: 18th/19th/20th/21st August 2017

Just nipping through the Prem matches to see if anything catches the eye.
Not much value once more But Burnley at home @ 2.5's on the back of last weeks great win at Chelsea was the stand out pick for me, Burnley at Turf Moor are pretty formidable against a lot better teams than the baggies, more so if their best defender Johnnie Evans has had his head turned by Citeh.
After that without going into odds on territory and best of the bunch imo would be Huddersfield @ 2.3's, they will be looking to build on that cracking win last week against Palace where they looked so assured, Newcastle will be looking to bounce back after doing so well against Spurs until Captain fantastic and Nob Head Shelvey was sent off. Would it have changed things? No I don't think so, Spuds were just warming up and the outcome was inevitable imo.
Talking of which, Why not take Spurs @ just over evens against last years Champions, they'll never get a better chance to turn them over. Not only were Chelsea looking a bit threadbare before last week, Cahill and Fabregas have gone on to exacerbate the problem with their suspensions and with no Hazard, Pedro or Costa to boot, Spurs are looking a decent punt.
Looking at the rest, the odds are too small to gather any interest from me, I can also see a couple of banana skins among that lot so tread carefully.

Leicester showed enough last week v Arsenal to say that they look like continuing where they left off last season and ate showing an interest to try and play football again. Brighton put up a decent fight v Man City but being away from home might just be the difference.
Leicester for me although i think the bookies have priced it up correctly which means i think the price is a tad short.

Exactly hence the reason I never mentioned this game, agree entirely with your analysis Keggers but the price put me off.
Just remembered Spurs are also playing at Wembley, that will also have to be taken into consideration if you fancy a Punt on them.

After a disastrous midweek 
I'm hoping for more luck at the weekend. I'm on three:
Fleetwood to beat Wimbledon at 21/20. Fleetwood going well with two wind from two; Wimbledon looking weaker.
Wigan to win at Oldham, evens. Wigan are favourites for the championship, and Oldham favourites to finish bottom. The away side usually wins in just over half these cases.
Aldershot to win at Boreham Wood, DNB. Aldershot have had a great start
. Wood have seven points from four, but their two victories, against Torquay and Solihull, were against strugglers. I struggle to make Wood favourites as the bookies do.
