Anybody any thoughts on Ronaldo?

I know most United fans think he's the second coming of Christ but personally I think there is a big chance he could bugger up their season.
He's a larger than life player and if he's being paid half a million a week or whatever it wouldn't surprise me if he has a play when I say clause in his contract.
Not only that but I wouldn't be surprised if he also has first dibs on free kicks and pens, which could push out Fernandes who has been United's best player since arriving at the club.
It's no coincidence you don't see Fernandes play well for Portugal when Ronaldo is also in the squad.

I dunno, I just get the feeling as United were starting to make the right moves bringing in players like Varane and Sancho (although imo they would have been better with Bellingham) , they may have had another Sanchez moment.

Plus Ronaldo is further up the pecking order than Ole, compared to him playing for the likes of Pep or Klopp, this alone could cause numerous problems should thing start going tits up.

These are my initial thoughts but should things turn out as most Rags are expecting, then I take my hat off to Ole as he really is taking a hell of a gamble.

I think he'll do alright at first, maybe even score a few against Newcastle later if he plays.
He'll be looking to score a few goals but i can see more assists than goals this season. He'll do alright, but for one season only imo. After that i agree, the novelty will wear off and other players might start getting pissed off about a 37yr old has been starting before them.

Got my free bet , struggling with vision and fat fingers , it's on Chelsea to win , £1.72 return :duh
