I've said from day one that I've been massively impressed by him Wayne. Apart from the use of the words "Ya know" fifteen times per minute he's been great in my view.

My biggest fear was that he would let his bias get in the way or be too shit scared to upset Fergie but he's told it like it is in my view and I particularly like the way he will praise some of the players who it was obvious he had some right ding dong battles with as a player.

It's also interesting to hear some of the things he says that gives you something of an insight into how players might be thinking when they go in to face certain teams and players. This in total contrast to the current players who have a mike stuck in front of their noses and daren't say fuck all for fear of upsetting anyone they have, are or might play for or giving anything away about their particular manager's instructions or the silly old cunts like Lawrensen who played in an era when absolutely fuck all about the game was recognisable in the game that's played today (even if the arse wasn't too senile to come up with anything sensible to say). He's like some old uncle stuck in the corner waffling on about how they should bring back national service.

As does after-eventing which I also won't be doing. If you searched around you'd see that I've been on United since October or November or something. I back them every year (and although I back and lay through the season, every year, it's a bet I hope to lose). The only reason I didn't get on earlier was because I thought any price under 2/1 was ridiculous. You see, I make a judgement call on the price v the situation (unlike you and your "back Rooney however shit the price is" strategy. That's why I thought City were the better price at 6/4 the other day and why I would still think it was if the situation was the same today. Things have gone tits up for city. That was always the possibility and you build that into your decision. City could still beat Arsenal and United and go on to win the league even now.

I'd back analytical judgement over blind faith and pig-headed stupidity every time but it takes all sorts.

Who is the most likely player to score for united. Just take a quick look at the goal scoring stats for us this season. There's only one money spinner.
