1:05 Navan - RUN WITH THE TIDE - Powerful owner's 2nd string, but nicely enough bred and could easily run a nice debut at 25's.

2:20 Southwell - CAPTAIN BELLAMY - Trainer always to be feared at the track and this one does have a decent Fibresand record. Fair chance at the weights and 4's is about right.

3:05 Taunton - SHARP SUIT - Bumper debut was fair enough and should improve for jumping a hurdle. Immediate step up to 3m is interesting and for me has a better chance than 50/1 suggests.

4:35 Southwell - ARMADA BAY - Tamayuz's first runner on fibresand, but always felt they would do well here as they tend to go on soft. 1m on this surface could prove ideal and chances are increased by the weakness of the race.

4:50 Navan - ONE MORE COUNTY - Nicely bred and represents powerful connections. Debut effort came over 600 days ago and only showed limited promise, but should prove much better than that. Obviously risky on the back of such an absence, but 20's makes up for that.

5:00 Wetherby - DIAMOND KING - Nicely bred, well related and the stable does very well in this sphere. Would not be surprised if this one ends up vying for favouritism.
 
I thought this was down as well as Horsenap.

Fav could piss in or come last trying this trip for the first time.

Kazbow obviously fancied lto and on the same mark.

Went out to 3.6 after I placed the bet, but at least took some of it for trading.
Even though it won, I thought it was poor ride sticking on the rail the whole journey.
Having thought Stand Guard was a possible non stayer, there was probably more value laying in running.

Had the "slow lane" last time here and I'm clueless how the fav will go on the surface but can be a hard puller.

Frustratingly near to a big Tricast withTRIMONTIUM 1st at 16's, UMNEEYATEE 3rd ( around 25's ) and JE'TAIME 4th
 
I can't touch the SA stuff as I'm completely clueless with it, but well done in the last race Samoan.

Get yourself on ATR as the resident expert.

Diamond King was very impressive, but it's hard to weigh up that race. I backed Willpower in running in the place market simply on the basis that it would be fit, which seemed the case as he was first off the bridal but stayed on.

The time is hard to assess and I don't know how they run the flat races but the best time of the day was the first race which was the poorest on the card.
 
7:30 Greyville - Took advantage of a couple of early prices in this race and gone with the following -

PRICELESS GEM ( Currently 10's with Bet365, but would expect shorter )
COPPER BAY ( 12's looks a shade generous )
GOOD IDEA ( Some appeal at 20's )

Also gone with a small EW on SPECTROSCOPE

Poor last race for me, though a very exciting finish with a 5 way go for 1st. 4 places so needless to say one of mine was 5th
