Sunday is the funday here IMO. I may take on the Swansea and lump on Spuds. The Gogs are in the midst of an injur crisis and looked toothless v Yernited last week despite dominating possession, losing to United is a damning testimony to their ordinariness, at Old Trafford too!
Spurs two up top means they should score against a average defence

I like that Price for Chelski, I'd have put that at 1.50 personally. look I never backed against United but this is not United, this is New Everton and without Rooney and RVP they have little chance IMO. Jizzyjizz can only really be expected to sprinkle his magic dust against weaker teams, he wont get the ball unless he kicks off.
 
I'm expecting Chelski to have a walk in the park too Keggers, no RVP or Rooney once more so I just can't see where the United threat is going to come from, Jizzyjizz might be the secong coming for them but I'm yet to see him have a good game against a decent side, he'll probably prove me wrong on Sunday lol but I'm just saying.

Sunderland look a larger than I was expecting and now they have finally managed to find the onion bag they should be looking to kick on, plus Southampton now have their own problems so lets see how they react too.

I fancy palace to get a result but I see Hughes has been busy in the Jan transfer market so it's one where I'm going to suckit and see.

Good luck with Spuds Keema, personally I think Swansea aren't doing four badly and will give Spurs a good game, there's still something about this Spurs side I don't like under Sherwood and I'm expecting them to go on a sticky run sooner rather than later.
 
I'm with Keem on Spurs although I share your concerns about Sherwood's tactics. Put under pressure with an early goal from Swansea and his lack of tactical know how will soon be revealed. If he plays with two wingers, Swansea will walk straight through the midfield with their tippy tappyness. However, I think we are still in the honeymoon period and I think that will get them through this week at least.

Then they'll fall apart.

I also fancy Chelsea to beat United but the price is shite and it just could be one of those games where everyone is expecting the one result and United pull off a result. With Van P and Rooney I would have gone for a United win with that logic but without them, even that theory can't stretch to a United win so that's the long-winded way of saying that I'll be on the draw.

Have I missed something and West Ham have made some January signings from Barca? It's the only explanation I can think of that they should only be 2/1 (and shortening) against Newcastle. By the time they kick off, Newcastle should be 4/5 DNB the way the prices are going. I'll have some of that. I'm assuming by the price changes that those in the know are expecting the return of the donkey and, things being as they are, by extension, are expecting him to score against his old club. Neither of those is a given so I'm happy to stick with the Toon Army.

I like West Broms price, but if Shane Long had just left my club to go to Hull I think I'd be worried, personally. Some stat I saw earlier was something like 83% of Albions goalscorers last season have now left in Long, Odemwingie & Lukaku

Nah you've not missed anything ODM, I was nearly all over this match like a rash and would have been had the hammers not won away to Cardiff last weekend, that's no mean feat and will give West Ham some confidence going into this match.
I'm still expecting Newcastle to win but seeing as they're coming into this fixture on the back of three straight defeats I decided to leave it alone at that price.

Norwich should beat Hull but again I wouldn't like to put money on it because I wouldn't be surprised to see Hull get something from this game, they have shown they are certainly up for a fight.

I wouldn't be surprised to see West Brom turn Everton over either but the way Everton are playing I couldn't bring myself to back against them and I'll be even more surprised if Everton come away with anything less than a point.

Not being funny,ODM,but obviously any tipster who is wrong a great deal of the time-in football betting not horseracing I mean-is worth just as much as one who is profitable.

It's not like horse racing. Do they know anything about any upcoming football match that anyone on the internet couldn't find out? Do they fuck. The viewpoint I'm putting forward is, make your own fucking mind up and don't put forward their half-assed opinions as if they carry any weight.

Perhaps the easiest way for me to answer that is by telling you that my favourite gambling book,


"The Zen of Gambling"

Expressly tells you to bet against 'experts'/pundits etc etc .


I read the Racing Post because it saves me work-ie finding out about new signings,recent performances,loans,injuries etc eytc.
 
Good point for Villa even though we were 2 up. We'd have lost that not too long ago, & there's not many that can say Anfield is a (relatively) happy hunting ground for them in recent seasons. Thought our tempo was terrific & whilst Liverpool weren't great first half our tempo was a big part of that. It's also a perfect illustration of why Ron Vlaar is slow, boring in interviews....& fucking enormous for our cause. When he's the one making the last tackle you hold your breath but his timing is superb. Shame you haven't got a mobile Punter, it may well have been having its battery run down 10 minutes before half time :lol

Just in case someone pulls me up on this,Im aware that the author of this book has a bad rep.

I didnt say its a great book.Most betting books are next to useless in my opinion.

I enjoyed reading it and it contains a bit more 'wisdom' than most.
 
Funnily enough ,on comparing stattos ratings based predictions with spreadex the only team where theres more than a 2 point

difference is Palace.

But its statto thats wrong I think. The ratings are lagging behind.

Statto has Palace ending with just 30 points,spreadex has them on 33/34.
