Odds From Bet365

I'm chancing just the one bet this weekend.

I think it might be all about Leyton Orient getting a win, their first competitive game without Justin Edinburgh.

Other than losing JE, Orient haven't changed too much over the Summer. They have added a couple to the squad but kept almost all of the team that won the Nationwide League, together.

Cheltenham in finished 16th in League two last season and spent the most part worrying about relegation. In effect, they only finished 8 places above Orient.

I was a little surprised to see Orient odds against here.
It's the opening day of the season and there's no form to go on but I've taken the 2.14 on Betfair about the home win.

Gonna have a wee dabble on Cardiff and Huddersfield, apart from it being Warnocks swansong for Cardiff I think Huddersfield have enough good players to have another crack at the Prem.

Good luck both. :crossfingers I'm on three so far:

Forest Green to beat Oldham, 11/8, Betway although that's now well gone. Forest Green should be around the play-offs while Oldham probably won't be. I had Forest Green around the evens it's now gone to.

Bradford to beat Cambridge, Evens, Coral. Bradford have recruited well after a disaster last season and are the bookies favourites for L2. The bet assumes the new look team will gel, but evens against a team with a mid-table look was good enough for me, although again the price has gone since I took it.

Stockport to beat Maidenhead, evens, Betway. I don't know much about Stockport, but I do know the general feeling is that the promoted clubs should be okay (except perhaps Woking). I've not got involved in the relegation antepost market but did think about taking Maidenhead to go down (only decided against it because they're too short) so this is a bet against Maidenhead rather than for Stockport.

Cardiff is my nap for the opening day fixtures.

As Slick has said this is Warnocks swansong. Hopefully they've gotten over the death of Emiliano Sala as I think that didn't help last year and hung about for ages.

Cardiff might be a good shout so I've gone with you, DNB at 8/11. Also, the whole internet seems to be tipping Blackburn to beat Charlton, so I've invested in that, also at the general 8/11.
