Everton vs. Liverpool
Saturday 1st October 2011 KO 12:45 at Goodison Park
A potential cracker to get us underway as Liverpool look to improve their push for 4th place at fierce rivals Everton. The defeat at Spurs was a reality check for Kenny Dalglish’s men but they bounced back with victory over Wolves last weekend.
Everton were plucky but ultimately pointless at the City of Manchester Stadium but back on home turf, they are likely to give Liverpool a torrid time.

Aston Villa vs. Wigan
Saturday 1st October 2011 KO 15:00 at Villa Park
Still unbeaten this season, Alex McLeish’s Aston Villa side are becoming somewhat the draw specialists having drawn five of their six matches thus far. The new manager has improved the defence and made his team tough to beat but these are the sorts of games they should be winning at home.
After a few positive results at the start of the season, the wheels have really come off at Wigan and they are staring a fourth straight league defeat in the face here.

Blackburn vs. Manchester City
Saturday 1st October 2011 KO 15:00 at Ewood Park
The pressure was lifted on manager Steve Kean following Blackburn’s win over Arsenal, but defeat at Newcastle this past weekend has seen them slip back into the bottom three and are once again in much need of a win. Unfortunately for Blackburn, they are facing arguably the most talented squad in the League in the shape of Manchester City.
City maintained their excellent start to the season with victory over Everton on Saturday, and now sit level on points with Manchester Utd at the top of the table. With home advantage, Blackburn may be able to take something from the game and a draw is probably the value bet.

Manchester United vs. Norwich
Saturday 1st October 2011 KO 15:00 at Old Trafford
Unbeaten all season and still top of the table, Manchester Utd look like strong favourites to take another Premier League crown. Having said that, Sir Alex Ferguson’s men were arguably lucky to come away with a point against Stoke last week, so they are not completely infallible.
Norwich recorded their first home win of the season on Monday evening with a 2-1 win over Sunderland. They are a very spirited side and have performed with great credit thus far but getting anything from Old Trafford will be a very tough ask.

Sunderland vs. West Bromwich Albion
Saturday 1st October 2011 KO 15:00 at The Stadium of Light
A big game for Steve Bruce and Roy Hodgson here as Sunderland and West Brom have both experienced poor starts to the 2011/12 season. Sunderland looked poor in the defeat at the hands of Norwich but the week prior had won by 4-0 against Stoke. Back on home soil, I expect to see an improved performance.
West Brom could only manage a goalless home draw against Fulham on Saturday and need a win from somewhere. Sunderland are definitely beatable, but I expect them to have too much for West Brom on this occasion.

Wolves vs. Newcastle
Saturday 1st October 2011 KO 15:00 at Molineux
Following a promising start to the season, Mick McCarthy’s Wolverhampton Wanderers side have suffered three league defeats in a row and could really do with stopping the rot here.
Newcastle continue to impress and picked up three points in a 3-1 win over Blackburn in their most recent outing to remain unbeaten and sit in 4th place in the Premier League. This match has draw written all over it for me.

Bolton vs. Chelsea
Sunday 2nd October 2011 KO 13:30 at The Reebok Stadium
Bolton Wanderers and manager Owen Coyle are going through a serious rough patch. Their fixture have been a little unkind, but following the 4-0 win at QPR on the opening day of the season, Bolton have not picked up a point in five games and sit rock bottom of the Premier League.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are flying high and sit just three points off the two Manchester teams at the top of the table. Villas-Boas side were arguably unlucky in the defeat at Old Trafford and seem to be improving all the time. Coyle will want a serious reaction from his players following a poor run of results and this could be where they start to pick up. I fancy a score draw.

Fulham vs. QPR
Sunday 2nd October 2011 KO 15:00 at Craven Cottage
The second of our four Sunday fixtures sees QPR travel to Craven Cottage in what is a huge match for Martin Jol. Fulham are yet to win a league game under Jol this season and this is a game which fans will expect them to win. Four draws and two defeat’s leaves Jol’s side just outside the bottom three.
QPR have been on a decent little run since bringing in some fresh faces in the transfer window. They are unbeaten in their last three and look a much better side with Joey Barton in the centre of midfield. Fulham have always been decent on home ground and I fancy them to finally get their first victory of the season.

Swansea vs. Stoke
Sunday 2nd October 2011 KO 15:00 at Liberty Stadium
A very interesting encounter at the Liberty Stadium with Premiership new boys Swansea taking on an ambitious Stoke City side. Swansea took a hammering at Chelsea last week but their home form has been good on the whole having only lost the one game to Man City in their opening fixture.
Stoke put a heavy defeat at the hands of Sunderland behind them with an excellent point at home against Manchester United. They sit in 7th place in the table and should be able to come away with a point here.

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Arsenal
2nd October 2011 KO 16:00 at White Hart Lane
This is the first season for a long time where Tottenham come into a North London derby as the strong favourites. Spurs had a tough start to the season with their first game being abandoned and then having to play the two Manchester giants, but they have since won three on the bounce and look like serious contenders for the top four once again.
Arsenal on the other hand are a shadow of their former selves and it is hard to see their shaky defence handling Tottenham’s potent attacking force.
