Have Liverpool signed half a dozen new players to justify being odds on as short as that away from home ?

No but the way Sunderland are playing and with Suarez now back the bookies ain't going to take any chances.
Still backing against any side who have just lost their manager or may even have a new one is a risky business.
As you mention though Keggers it would be silly to take them at that price.

I agree, not worth chancing at those odds.

Spurs are too big a price at home for me to ignore. I think Chelsea will look at playing for a point, like they did at Old Trafford. Spurs can pinch this by a single goal and Villas-Boas can give his middle finger to Abramovich and Mourinho. 17/10, big price, worth chancing imo.

I just got 11/8 about Arsenal too! Bet Victor the only bookie up with that price. A tough game but i think they can win in Swansea.

I have the above two in a Trixie with Luton away at Hereford.

One more bet in the prem for me, Man City will only have to play half as well as they did last weekend to get all 3 points at Villa. Hard to see Villa scoring without Benteke and City -1 @ 2.30 looks generous. A single on that, for me.

I don't like the look of this weeks fixtures.
The only thing that I like the look of is a Manchester double @ around evens.

Agree with the comment about Chelsea playing for a point Punt, will also be a marker to see where Spuds are at considering the only other decent team they have played this season was Arsenal who they lost to, be interesting to see if they have improved any because results since suggest they are rocking at the moment but with the calibre of opposition it's hard to tell.

I'm nearly tempted by Stoke too but something's telling me they are due a cropper, I'd much rather put my money on Punt's City -1 @ 2.30's, even without Aguero who won't be playing City have goals written all over them.

I'm not buying into all the Stoke revival stuff. According to MOTD they are a totally different team from last season because they are averaging more passed per game these days. I didn't see the Stoke Man City game but I hear they were good for at least a point - fair enough but the only other thing they've done this season is beat two promoted teams who are languishing in the bottom six. I have a feeling that Norwich are better than they've shown so far. Hooper hasn't started a league game yet and I fancy this to be his first and Norwich to get at least a point. They are 2/1 DNB but why be greedy when you can just lay the home team at evens?

I've been waiting for Stokes bubble to burst because I don't really rate Hughes, but fair dues to the fella so far to date as he's done a lot better that I thought he would.
It will pop though and luckily for Hughes this season in the Prem there are four or five teams who are even worse which will save his bacon, makes you wonder why they got rid of Pullis really as they will finish in a similar position to his team last season.
I can guarantee Hughes will never get Stoke into Europe like Pullis did though.

You might be right ODM, about Norwich and me being a cunt :lol

Fuckin'ell I'd have lost some money if I'd had a bet today.....sure I'd have lived with it though :)

Get in Swoop'!
I'm stunned and i'm out of pocket here but great result for Villa.

I

I'm pretty confident in getting at least one out of those two right :wasnme

My banker bet this weekend is already up by the way.

Cunt :lol

Six minutes gone and I don't think Stoke have been out of their own half yet. Good start by Norwich

Slick, we need to talk :)

lol, was the proverbial game of two halfs.
Can't take nowt away from Villa though as they took their chances and deserved to win the match, at least or I hope it's going to highlight the fact we need another decent keeper to push and rival Joe Hart who doesn't seem to be progressing.
I'm not blaming him for the defeat but it seems every time a team breaks down our defence 9 times out of 10 the ball ends up in the back of the net.

Jordan Henderson playing his 100th game for us, from the club we bought him from. 6/1 anytime scorer @ Corals
