All week I've been thinking Stoke are a good bet, but talking to a season ticket holder he reckons they've got no height available @ centre half with Shawcross suspended. Have Fulham got the tools to use that advantage? I still don't see Stoke losing tbh & 4 points would see them overhaul Pulis's best finish

Stoke seem to be slacking a bit of late Swoops now the season is nearing it's end and the summer holidays in mind, at those odds I wouldn't chance it considering Fulham for as shite as they are; are still battling away.
I don't know, I'd expect Stoke to win but wouldn't at all be surprised to see this game end up a draw.

United 3/10 ffs, probably on the back of Gigg's win last week but they don't deserve those odds considering the results Sunderland have had over the last fortnight, I'm not saying United won't win but I don't foresee the thrashing those odds suggest, could be on for the AH, Sunderland +1.5 @ 1.85 Bet365 for me.

I was also tinkering with the idea of backing Cardiff now Newcastle have packed up for the season but considering the pressure Pardew is under I have a feeling they will turn up for this one with it being their last home fixture and all that.

Everybody is beating Newcastle these days. Cardiff DNB has got to be backed at 6/4 or so.

The Newcastle fans are planning a walk out on 60 mins in protest at their team 'only' finishing in the top half (when clearly they deserve to be challenging for the title each season as they have 85,000 screaming jawdees supporting them every game :ohwell).

ffs - they should try being in a Sunderland fan's shoes for a few years...

Anyway, a tough game to call, the worst team in the Prem on recent form v the worst team overall. Couldn't back the mags at odds-on (scored one goal in last 6 games and failed to score in 13 of last 18) but Cardiff are pretty woeful. 0-0 the value?

It's a draw day for me, stoke, Villa, Reading & Blackpool, doubles & up. The Newcastle walk out is set for the last time they won anything, & I'm impressed they've got records going back to 1869 :unsure

Swoops, you've forgotten about their victory in the prestigious Intertoto Cup...

Have I? shit :unsure
Well, them winning today has helped my relegation bet no end, I'll get paid tomorrow :wasnme Well, assuming Norwich don't do something ridiculous anyway

Just think - if the intertoto cup still existed then Man Utd would have qualified next season :unsure

Can't believe what I've just witnessed, I said Rodgers was naive against Chelsea but letting a 3 goal lead slip in the last 10 minutes is taking the biscuit.
I was just thinking to myself I'm glad Liverpool are going for the goal difference because it probably means City will go out to win their remaining matches by bagging as many as they can rather than playing cagely and putting me through hell.
But once Palace bagged a goal I expected Liverpool to shut up shop; not only that I said to the misses just before that goal 'Liverpool are starting to look tired' but no Liverpool still kept pushing on for more.
I suppose if it came off It would have been a masterstroke but once Palace bagged a second it was unbelievable no changes were made to shore up the defense.

LIverpool fans won't believe me when I say it's not over yet but that point could be the most important one they have got all season.

I agree Slick - it's not over yet but with City trading at 1/10 I'm happy - it gives me change to trade out my potential losses

It was a crazy weekend in Spain but I don't think Villa will pose many problems for City on Wednesday night. Our best players are either injured or running on empty at the moment and now we have crossed the line I can't see us putting up much of a fight.

There is also huge talk of a takeover at Villa in the summer so City should be able to fill their boots weds night

lol, you two must be mad, it was over when we lost to Chelsea. I've already spent my winnings.

So basically you saying that city will lose one of their two remaining games:thinking

Is it Villa or West Ham ?

Or is it two draws

I don't think they'll beat villa and if that happens who knows if the pressure will make beating even the shit West Ham too difficult.

They look like needing 4 points out of two games and obviously most expect them to do that? would you back them to do it at 1/10? If u would then ur probably the kind of person who would have been happy to back Liverpool at 1/999 when they were three up on Monday and we know what happened there don't we.

Pressure can do strange things

I honestly think City will waltz through this match and win easy.
Villa are down in the bottom of the table and rightly so , if City cant turn them over at home somethings sadly wrong.
City have beaten Villa ten times out of the last eleven at home.
Just a couple of bets for interest.
City to win 3-1 @ 11/1
Dzeko first scorer @ 7/2.
EVS on Sunderland , al have some of that as well .

I fancy Alonso to score tonight for Sunderland, he's due a goal. First / last / anytime @ 44.0 / 17.0 / 36.0

West Ham lol.
I don't know Colbro but I've known City long enough now to know things never run smooth, if a fcuk up can happen it's guaranteed to happen to us.

Well done too Seen, getting out of that scrape was nothing short of a miracle.

Nice betting Winrew, good calls :clap

I'll say well done to City for winning the league now, if that's alright with you Slick lol.

Worthy champions and i dread to think what you'll do next season if the Messi rumours are true. Well done this season anyway :clap

Stop trying to turn the tables on me ya cnut, it not over yet.

I feel a bit more confident tonight but that only brings my levels up too about 70% confidence I'd say and the heavy pitch tonight would have done us no favours although the way Yaya ran at the Villa defence at the end you wouldn't have thought so.
Whoever wins it will have deserved it due to the football they have played and the amount of goals they have both scored this season.
And if Liverpool do lose it it's only down to a bit of naivety towards the end from Rodgers, I can't help wondering though if Henderson didn't make that rash challenge towards the end of the City game would recent results have been different because he has been missed but Rodgers has still played the same system without him, when a bit of nip and tuck might have been better.
