Torino look a good price at 9/4 DNB , tough derby match,but Torino have goals in the side,Junventus are a class side,but upto now seem to be struggling to find the net away averaging just over a goal a game.

Celta Vigo 5/6 DNB , again no problem scoring goals here against Seville whos defeat at Grenada and a backs to wall draw at Lyon,im ready to take them on.
 
Bloody hell, just checked your previous posts, last post before today was February 2012, surely it's not been that long, if you'd have asked me I'd have said maybe a couple of years at most :eek

Celta screwed me over today as well on the Spanish football pools. Have to predict 1X2 for 14 matches, and the correct score of the bonus 15th match. Had 6/6 after yesterday's matches, got the midday kick off right as well, but needed Celta to win that match.

Still, at least the excitement lasted into the 2nd day, normally get at least one wrong somewhere on the Saturday and the dream's dead before it even gets started.
 
Wow 14 matches , its one of those you just pray to hit onetime.6/6 is awesome in anyones book.Celta well,i bought into the fact that Seville getting beat at Grenada last week didn't make good reading,and the fact they went away to Lyon midweek.
 
It's only 0.75€ a line, run by the people that do the lotteries here in Spain, chances of winning it are probably about the same, but at least there's a bit more skill to it than the lottery (still a lot of luck needed as well though). Normally do 4 or 5 lines, try and get 3 or 4 bankers, and then just mix and match for the other matches. Depends how many winners there are, 10 out of 14 normally gets you a couple of euros, 11 around a tenner, building up to the jackpot of a couple of million or thereabouts.

Like you say, would be nice just to hit it once. Mind you, years ago my Dad got 24pts on the UK football pools, was dancing around the living room thinking he'd got rich. Turned out there were something like 15 score draws that weekend, he ended up winning about 100 quid :lol If you're going to win it, you don't want it to be a weekend you end up sharing the jackpot with hundreds of others.
 
Ive not been one for those bets RC,but like you pointed out worth a shot,might have a few goes myself at these Jackpot bets.
 
Not sure how that'd really work through a bookies though, Basher. 14 selections, you'd have 1001 10-folds, 364 11-folds, 91 12-folds, 14 13-folds and one 14-fold to cover. You'd end up spending a fortune, and most weeks getting nothing back.
 
Just thinking of straight lines rather than perming mate.As you point out couldn't do it any other way because of cost.

I did the same thing once on Vernons (the cheaper version of littlewoods) and won £15, probably the same weekend:lol
I used to do quite well picking the draws, my system was find two teams within 4 places of each other and if the lower of the two was playing at home put it down as a draw lol

Maybe I should go back and proof it.

Finished up with 10/14 on the Spanish pools this weekend. Prizes have just been announced now, I've won the grand total of 1.88€. Oh well, at least that's the wife's Xmas present sorted.
 
Ive got 2.62 in my footballpools account.Premier 10 stakes from 25p.Jackpot 12 50p lines,hardly life changing prize pools tho.

Hang on a minute, it has only been 2 years, you've got two profiles with the same name, your other profile last posted in December 2014.

Thought you were just being particularly prolific with your changes of avatars :lol
