If anyone fancies a go at winning a few quid on the US racing, giz a shout and we'll put thoughts etc here.

Tonights meeting on Betfair are...

7.15 Will Rogers Downs
10.00 Fonner Park

The former is very much a front-runners track, useful for in-running purposes.
 
I'd love to mate but I just don't have the time unfortunately :-(
 
fast-pic thieves done their dough on the first race, 1.01 smashed to plenty - what a shame, eh? :p

7.45 WR - SONIC JET - May get outpaced, but money for this one into 14's.
 
9.15 WR - DEEP EXPLORER - Knows how to win races and whilst struggling to beat the FAV, could sneak a place at 14's.

9.45 WR - SHADILLAC - Looks well enough related and connections have kept the faith, so looks interesting on belated debut at 11's.

10.15 WR - D'CINNAMON GIRL - Possibly not as much improvement as expected on 2nd start, but 4/1 that day is replaced by 20's today, so definite EW interest at that price.
 
Could be plenty of pace in the next too (8.15), the 1 horse JUSTABOUTRIGHT (8.0) is clear top-rated on finishing speed so going with that one. Saver on the 3 horse BILLIE G (12.0). As always I'll be trying for big odds in-running on them.

Which form site do you use Samoan?
 
8.15 - BILLIE G - Shame its just the 7 runners, but BG looks a bit big to me at 8's

JUSTABOUTRIGHT flew home to collar the fav late on, hit 19.0 in-running.

Went with the wrong one and BG a shade disappointing. JUSTABOUTRIGHT's was a particularly good effort, giving weight to most of the main rivals.
 
Will Rogers is usually a front-runners track but the first 3 races have seen all the winners come late and fast.

Not getting too involved in the 4th race (8.45) as there's no clear pace prediction, but if they do go a decent clip the 9 (SHELLEY'S DREAM 7.0) and 3 (R V T THUNDER ROAD 22.0) have the best finishing speeds so I'll try for big odds in-running to small stakes.
 
10.45 WR - MAYFAIR HEIGHTS - Not the worst debut ever and subsequently gelded. Just 6's on debut, so probably shown a bit at home and double that price today.
 
8.45 WR - SLIGHTLY CRAFTY - Did have a look at Seen's RVT, but ended up with this one instead. SC Could be in better form, but his 2 placed efforts from 14 starts look OK and not sure he should be 25's in this field.

The 8.45 was more like a typical Will Rogers race, with a slow pace and the fav allowed to do his own thing up front. SHELLEY'S DREAM came through late to grab 2nd but the fav had long gone.

Nothing stands out in the 9.15, probably either the fav LINDANTE will make all or the 2nd fav ONE STOP SHOP will run him down late. Small bet on the latter in-running asking for a lot bigger than his pre-race 5.0 in case he comes from way back.
 
10.00 Fonner Park - loads of early pace in this (as you'd expect in a 4f sprint), the 1 horse SUPERSERG is the finisher so worth a go. Saver on no6 YOUNGBOY who could also come late and fast.

Going with UN NAMEABLE STREET here. Likely to run his race and 16's in an 8 runner contest has plenty of appeal.

Winner absolutely blitzed them from the front.

22.27 Fonner - another 4f race and 4 of the 5 like to lead, so a hot pace looks assured. FRIGIDISH (no5) is the one who'll not be able to go the early pace so is the obvious choice, although it's usually hard to come from behind in sprints here as the first race showed. If he does win he'll surely go a bigger price in-running (currently 6.6).
