Odds William Hill

USA (28) v Antigua & Barbuda (105) (Fifa Rankings in brackets)
Total mismatch here between the USA and Antigua. Antigua qualified for the third round group stage thanks to winning a group which included Haiti (71), US Virgin Islands (182) and Curacao (160). I'm not a big fan of the FIFA rankings but they hardly look as though they had their work cut out for them. I believe the CONCACAF rankings are inflated due to the large amount of matches some teams play outside of recognised FIFA International dates, so I'd possibly rate some of theses teams slightly lower.

Anyway, the qualification format has changed this time around. Antigua never usually got to this stage as they'd been knocked out in the first or second round. The qualification stage this year has been quite good to them as they never had one of the 'major' Central American or Caribbean nations in their group (El Salvador, Trinidad, Panama, Canada or Guatemala). If they had, I'm not sure they'd have qualified.

Antigua have never played against the USA as they've never qualified for the same competitions, but their recent results, especially away against the better CONCACAF nations aren't encouraging - 0-4 in Cuba and 1-8 in Guatemala. Cuba and Guatemala are hardly up there with the USA in terms of quality.

The USA are at full strength and know that anything less than a comprehensive victory would be viewed unfavourably at home. The last time they played a team at home of similar strength to Antigua was when they beat Barbados 8-0. I'd expect a similar result today.

USA -4 (AH) @ 2.375 (Bet365) - 3 points
USA -5 (AH) @ 4.15 (Bet365) - 2 points

Same goes for Mexico (19) against Guyana (104). It would be a massive surprise if the Mexicans didn't secure an easy victory at the Azteca. They scraped through a group which involved Barbados (178), Bermuda (109) and and understrength Trinidad (82).

Mexico -4 (AH) @ 1.975 (Bet365) - 3 points
Mexico -5 (AH) @ 3.2 (Bet365) - 2 points

Good luck m8, tell the truth thats the highest handicap I have ever seen anybody take.
I see the USA match ko's at midnight, now you have got me intrigued I'm going to see if I can get it on my big dish.

Looks like I might have to sack the USA game as it's on a channel that rarely comes on for me but I'll be able to watch the Mexican match on aljazeera sport.

Slick, streaming on Bet365 at the moment. 8 minutes in and USA 1-0 up, Antigua look poor. Hopefully a few more to come.

I'll login now then allthough I'll be switching over to Mexico at 1am for the big screen effect.

Bloody half time isn't it, I'll hang on for the Mexico game.

8 minutes in? I thought it kicked off @ midnight, I'll login into bet365 and see whats going on.

Mexico should be ok here NS as Jesus is in nets, I don't know who the fcuk the commentator is but he sounds like Max Headroom.

The USA kit looks a bit shitty doesn't it, looks like a Wigan rugby top.
I've got both games on the go now.

1-0 Mexico after 11 mins, this looks like a cake walk, Guyana have only touched the ball twice.

Should have been 2-0 then, clear header missed.

there it is 2-0, cracking goal from Spurs's De Santos.

The US should be more than 2 up at half time, hopefully their superior fitness will tell in the second half.

Mexico 2-0 up just now, making light work of Guyana by the looks of it.

Cracking shot from Hernandez from outside of the box that came off the inside of the post and bounced out, Mexico still haven't took their foot of the Gas.

I'm presuming it's half time in the USA game as my bet365 feed is now showing the Mexico game, it's pretty impressive as theres only about a half second delay between that and my live feed.

Another Mexican chance fluffed by Hernandez, your money should be in the bank by now NS and there's only half hr gone.

Hernandez finally gets one, a cheeky little back heel.
3-0.

just aswell really as Guyana were starting to create chances.
